Experience the Yonkers Sunset Senior Social This September

The Yonkers Sunset Senior Social invites the city’s seniors to enjoy evenings of music, dancing, and friendship this September.

 

Events will be held on Thursday, September 18 and Thursday, September 25, 2025, hosted by the Yonkers Parks Department to spark connection and fun.

 

Additional opportunities await this month for active seniors.

 

Golfers can join the Senior Golf Tournament on Tuesday, September 23, while history buffs will love the Revolutionary Harvest Festival at Philipse Manor Hall on September 13.

 

For cultural inspiration, don’t miss the Yonkers Black History Walking Tour on September 20.

 

Wellness enthusiasts can unwind at Sunset Yoga sessions in Untermyer Gardens, starting September 10.

Senior Golf Tournament Hosted by Yonkers Parks Department Tees Off This September

Yonkers Parks Department is excited to host the Senior Golf Tournament on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, inviting seniors from the community for a spirited day of golfing.

 

Local residents aged 60 and over can sign up to play at one of Yonkers' acclaimed courses, with the exact venue — like Dunwoodie or Sprain Lake Golf Course — to be revealed soon.

 

Early registration is encouraged, as spots fill quickly for this popular annual event.
